Originally from Elmhurst, Illinois, Bethany came to New York via Ireland. Along the way, she picked up a husband, an MFA and an appreciation for whiskey. Bethany has had the privilege of working with a number of companies in New York, including Paper Rain Productions, New York Rep, Moonlight Productions, Mind the Art Entertainment and Bloody Shakespeare.
A resident artist with New Light Theater Project, Bethany has acted in numerous productions with the company, including Pulitzer Nominated War Words and the critically acclaimed, award winning Strange Country. Bethany is also a founding member of New Dance Theatre, a movement based company, that uses the actor's impulses to create choreography and tell the story.
A frequent collaborator with Christian De Gré Cárdenas, he has created many role for her, including LUCINE! or birdshit: a human concerto for string and void. LUCINE! debut at the New York City Fringe Festival, and has since gone on to be performed at Joe’s Pub, as well as excerpts at 54Below.
Bethany, along with partner in crime Arisael Rivera, created a webseries, MEET. All seven episodes of the first season are now streaming!
